Increase study and reading time

Children will have 3.9 additional hours per day1 of improved lighting to study and complete their homework.

Maria lives in a shanty town in Lima, Peru and sells her handmade weavings to tourists to earn money to care for her two orphaned grandchildren. Her grandchildren used to study by candlelight if there was enough money to purchase candles; if not, they couldn’t finish their homework. After attending PowerMundo’s product demonstration, Maria cautiously bought a solar lantern. When PowerMundo returned, she exclaimed how the solar lantern eliminated the need to keep buying candles and provided strong light for her grandchildren to study at night.
